Equus Asia is owned by Stuart Mitchell and specialises in training and preparing riders for international competition together with sourcing horses for clients. For many years Stuart has been the leading jumping trainer in North & South East Asia training many young riders up to Grand Prix and major Championship level.
Stuart has been associated with the horse industry all his life. He was the horse Equestrian Manager of the Hong Kong Jockey Club for six years where he instigated significant and strategic logistical changes.

Stuart travels regularly back to South East Asia coaching riders preparing for future Championships. Currently Janakabhorn Karunayadhaj from Thailand is based with Stuart at Chateau Trios Brioux preparing for the 2018 World Equestrian Games where she will qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Adrian has been involved in business for the last 46 years prior to purchasing the Chateau with his wife Jan 3 years ago. His business activities included building retail chains in Australia, establishing an on-line business in Hong Kong and more recently, founding the successful Barcelona Property Company and 3 other companies in Spain.
Jan has a passion for horses and together with Adrian lives between the Sunshine Coast Australia, Barcelona Spain and Charentonnay France where they maintain properties. They are delighted to have Equus Asia use the Chateau for its European base and together with Stuart, welcome riders and their families to the Chateau.
